True & False - The Old Man of Clear Serenity

TRUE & FALSE - The Old Man of Clear Serenity

There is nothing in the world that does not have true and false versions. Practice of the Way may also be true or false, so students should first distinguish the difference clearly. The essential thing is to refine away the fall within the true to filter out the true from the false. Only then do you attain the true rarity of perfect sincerity. The false is antagonistic to the true, so if it is not eliminated it will harm the true. But to get rid of it you have to find the appropriate way. If you do not find the way, it is like shutting the door to catch a robber; the false cannot be eliminated and the true is sure to get hurt. - The Old Man of Clear Serenity (ancient Taoist sage)
